Mitochondria machines

I think it's common knowledge (at least for thos who went to high school) that we use energy provided by mitochondria. Mitochondria supplies ATP, which is used by our cells to provide energy by breaking it into ADP/ AMP. But I didn't know until recently that mitochondria is, literally, an organic rotary motor. A real organic machine.
