A total lunar eclipse was taking place today. But it fails to be a spectacular view. From my place, the sky was heavily clouded (well, it's the rainy season here) which makes the eclipse observation a rather dull experience. Heck, even the June 2010 partial eclipse was more exciting than today.
It's a shame that I couldn't enjoy today eclipse. The next observable total lunar eclipse from my place would be on October 2014. There would be a partial lunar eclipse on June next year too; albeit only small region of the moon would be covered, I guess it would be quite exciting. Let's hope the sky would be clear at that time.
